My name is Gabriel J. Bødker, I was born in the beginning of 97’.
…on a Monday which I’ve always found ironic.

My Mother is Danish, my Father - Nigerian.

At the time of writing (November 2023) I’ve spent the last couple of years really looking outwards, inwards too but mostly out towards all of the wonderful things our world has to offer. Almost as if I’ve been looking for something.

This has drastically changed my perspective of the world. Almost as if I had taken my sight for granted, for me at least being able to see is not the same as truly looking and paying attention.

In my work I try to share my perspective from both angles, outwards as well as inwards.

My debut independant solo show spanned 4 floors and 250 square meters.

These two exhibitions raised 18.400kr which was donated to Unicef to help them provide Covid-19 vaccinations to people whom are less fortunate than me.
